Popular Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane was arrested and booked in the United State for theft, credit card and identity fraud.

He now faces nine felony charges in Miami-Dade criminal court for credit card forgery and grand theft. 
Reacting to Dammy Krane's arrest, 2face said:
"Dammy is good. He's a young blood that very charismatic, likeable, talented, crazy but not that type of crazy.

The Queen of England on Wednesday reported to West Yorkshire Police for not wearing a seat-belt as she travelled to the State Opening of Parliament. 

In our part of the world, this may sound abnormal and ridiculous of a serving senior citizen to be summoned by the law enforcement agency for not wearing 'ordinary' seat-belt. 

But in England, it is normal because the law is made for everyone, regardless of status and class.

WTF? Father of six caught having sex with a goat in Katsina

This may sound strange and wield but very true. A 42-year-old father-of-six was caught in Katsina having sex with a goat. Babangida Garba was arrested in Ungwar Mata, Funtua local government area after his pregnant wife saw him with a goat belonging to their neighbour and raised alarm, attracting residents.

Garuba, a Goldsmith, was eventually handed over to the police and he allegedly confessed to the action, claiming it's because his wife starves him of sex.

7 women abducted in Borno State as suspected Boko Haram members attacked village

Unknown armed men suspected to be members of the dreaded sect, Boko Haram have abducted seven women and killed three others in an attack on Ndagu Village of Askira-Uba Local Government Area of Borno State on Monday Jan 23rd.

The gunmen stormed the village at about 5am and began shooting sporadically then fled with some cars belonging to residence after burning down homes.

Gunmen raid three courts in Benue, cart away documents, money, hold deputy gov's wife hostage

10 gunmen yesterday stormed three courts in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, carting away case files and other sensitive materials. The gunmen, armed with sophisticated weapons, stormed the houses accomodating High Court 9, Magistrates Court and Upper Area Court, shooting sporadically into the air.

Justices Ademola, Dimgba resume sitting after DSS raid

Barely two weeks after eight senior judicial officers were raided by the operatives of the Department of State Services between October 8 and 9, two judges of the Federal High Court in Abuja have resumed sitting on Monday.

While Justice Adeniyi Ademola was arrested after the raid and later granted bail, Justice Nnamdi Dimgba’s residence was only searched but he was not arrested.

Justice Ademola sat at Court 7 on Monday while Justice Dimgba heard a case  marked: FHC/ABJ/CS/788/2016, in his Court 11.

Kastina Police Orders Married 14-Year-Old Girl To Go Back To Her Family

14-year-old Habiba, who got married to a palace aide of Emir of Kastina, has been ordered by the Kastina State Police Command to return home as she’s too young to make decisions for herself.

According to Punchng, the directive came from the State’s Commissioner of Police,  Usman Abdullahi, after he received a petition about the issue in September and invited Lawal, the alleged abductor.

The command also disclosed that Habiba’s abductor, Lawal, who allegedly converted her to Islam forcefully, was released on bail, as there was no criminal charges against him.

Prophetess remanded for stealing neighbour’s turkey

41-year-old A C & S prophetess, Sola Ajayi, who allegedly stole a Canadian-breed life turkey valued at N30, 000,  is to remain behind bars, an Ile Ife Magistrates’ Court in Osun ruled on Monday. Ajayi was ordered to be kept in prison custody over the inability to perfect her bail.

Chief Magistrate, Olalekan Ijiyode had granted her bail in the sum of N30, 000 with one surety in like sum. Ijiyode added that the surety must be a civil servant and should also reside within the court’s jurisdiction.

Banks suspend ATM card usage abroad

Following the contuined dollar scarcity i the country, Deposit Money Banks have begun suspending their Automated Teller Machine cards (debit and credit) from working overseas as dollar scarcity continues to hit the economy badly.

Stanbic IBTC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria and Guaranty Trust Bank on Friday announced the suspension of their overseas ATM card services.

Also suspended by the banks are online transactions priced in foreign currencies. This means that customers of the banks will no longer be able to use their debit or credit cards to make online transactions that are denominated in dollars, euros, pounds sterling and other foreign currencies.

How hired killer fell in love with target, demanded sex

24 years old Tayo Adeyemi has confessed to have been hired to kill a female hotel lodger in the Alakija, Satellite Town area of the state. 

The suspect, who hails Kwara State was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command after he sneaked into the hotel, White House, and demanded that his target, simply known as Rosemary, had sex with him so he would spare her life.

It was the first meeting after two and half years of captivity. The excited girls ran, crying to parents who were equally so excited to see them.

Mikel, Iheanacho and Musa make 2016 CAF award list

A 30 man shortlist for the 2016 African Player of the Year award has been released by the Confederation of African Football, CAF, with John Obi Mikel, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa making the list. 

The Prestigious annual award, which will take place in Abuja on Thursday, Jan 5, 2017, will see the Nigerian stars battle the current holder, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Gabon, Samuel Eto’o from Cameroon among several others.

Following the recent raid by the Department of State Security, DSS last Saturday that lead to the arrest and detention of some senior judges, Adeniyi Ademola who was among the judges that were arrested and detained, says he was made to sign a confessional statement at the DSS office with a gun pointed at him.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ademola alleged that the sting operation carried out by DSS at his home in Abuja, was a personal vendetta against him masterminded by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami.

Man caught after buying condoms for sex with 11-year-old girl

38 years old Mark McKenna (pictured above), who was due to marry his long-time fiancee has been caught by a vigilante group trying to have sex with an 11-year-old girl.

According to Metro UK, 38-year-old Mark McKenna, was tracked down to Bluewater shopping centre in Kent after he bought condoms for his meeting with a young girl while his fiancee was on a hen do.

The report says that McKenna had sent a large volume of text messages and naked pictures of himself to the girl who did not exist before the meeting.

Nigeria will remain in recession till 2020 – Agbakoba

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Dr. Olisa Agbakoba, has said Nigeria will continue to wallow in economic recession until 2020 except the Federal Government takes hold of the banking sector and exert more regulatory control, among other measures.

Also, the senator representing Lagos-West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Adeola, has called for urgent measures to tackle the current economic recession facing the country.

The Nigerian Police Force and the Department of State Security DSS, have called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to postpone the Saturday September 10th governorship election in Edo state for security reasons. Obama cancels meeting with new Philippine President Duterte after he called him a SOB

United States president, Barack Obama has called off a planned meeting Tuesday with new Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, because he didn't want Obama to ask him questions about his directive for civilians to kill drug dealers in the Philippines. 

It's unusual for one president to tell another what to say or not say, and much rarer to call the other a "son of a bitch."  Before Duterte flew to Laos for a regional summit he warned Obama not to challenge him over extrajudicial killings in the Philippines.
Obama responded by saying:

"Clearly, he's a colorful guy." "What I've instructed my team to do is talk to their Philippine counterparts to find out is this in fact a time where we can have some constructive, productive conversations."
